Pauline fundraising for Breast Cancer Ireland in 2K A DAY IN OCTOBER
This October , I'm taking on the challenge of running 2k every day to raise vital funds for Breast Cancer Ireland. At the end of 2024 , I was diagnosed with breast cancer, and I have spent most of 2025 in active treatment. Before my diagnoses , I knew very little about breast cancer - but I've since learned how important awareness truly is. I'm fund-raising not just to support the incredible work of Breast Cancer Ireland, but also to spread awareness. Breast cancer doesn't discriminate - it can effect women and men of any age. My hope is that by sharing my journey, I can encourage more people in my age group (and beyond) to be breast aware and to never dismiss the signs. Every step i take in October is for the future with better awareness, earlier detection and improved outcomes. Any support- whether through donation or just by sharing this message means the world.
