13th June “Pink Padel Marathon” River Leisure Club @ Castle Oaks House Hotel

River Leisure Centre at Castle Oaks House Hotel will host a 24-hour “Pink Padel Marathon” on June 13th–14th in aid of Breast Cancer Ireland, while also officially launching its brand-new padel courts. The charity event will run continuously from 8am Saturday to 8am Sunday, with 96 participants taking part in one-hour playing slots throughout the 24 hours. A €10 participation fee will go directly to Breast Cancer Ireland, with additional donations accepted throughout the event. The marathon will feature local personalities, businesses and community supporters, with All-Ireland winning Limerick captain Declan Hannon and broadcaster Louise Cantillon already confirmed to take part. The event will also include a BBQ, beer tent, DJ entertainment and spot prizes, creating a fun and family-friendly atmosphere across the weekend. We hope the event will not only celebrate the launch of the new facilities at River Leisure Centre but also raise vital funds and awareness for Breast Cancer Ireland through a positive community-focused event.
